Mokugift Rewards FAQBasic Questions 1. Why is mokugift a good incentive? Mokugift can influence competitive purchase decisions. 83% of American would choose products and services with environmental benefits over similar non-environmental alternatives. (performics) Mokugift is a unique environmentally beneficial incentive that people can identify with. Research shows that despite bipartisan sentiments on politics and religion, 90% of Americans agree that there are important green issues and problems. (WPP) Mokugift is a great motivator for up-sell. Recent studies have shown that consumer preference shifts from necessity options to luxury options when tied to altruistic actions. Mokugift tree-planting could be used to set this stage. (U. Khan and R. Dhar, Journal of Marketing Research 2006) 2. How does this work? You can use mokugift as a reward to motivate customers or potential customers. When a customer takes the desired action, you notify mokugift to send trees to the customer’s email address. The notification can be done automatically or manually. Mokugift then plants a tree and notifies your customer via email that a tree was planted. The customer clicks on the link to watch a tree-planting animation. After the animation, your customer is sent to your eco-page. This page displays the total number of trees that your company has planted. It also displays other campaigns that you are running on mokugift. You can also add information about your company’s environmental initiatives such as recycling and packaging reduction. 3. How much work does this take to get started? In as little as 15 minutes. You can get started immediately by setting up a few lines of campaign text and buying trees for the campaign. You can then send trees to customers manually by logging into our system and pasting in the email addresses of recipients. This is a good option if your technical team is busy and your marketing team has time available to manually enter email addresses or lists of email addresses. You can also automatically send trees to customers when they perform the actions that you are trying to motivate. Your technical team can probably get this set up in one day by connecting to our simple API (application Programming Interface). Your marketing team will have to set up a few lines of campaign text and then buy trees for the campaign. This is the best option if your technical team is available. It is also frees up time for your marketing team from having to manually enter email addresses or lists of email addresses. 4. How much do trees cost? Trees are priced at $1 per tree. 5. The longest we will take to respond to an email will be 6 hours if it is sent outside of business hours ( 9am – 6pm Pacific Standard Time -08 GMT) Business Questions 6. Is mokugift a non-profit? Mokugift is NOT a nonprofit. We exist in a category called social entrepreneurship. We measure our success in terms of customer experience, profit AND tangible, positive benefit to the environment. We work closely with non-profits that have experience and expertise in sustainable tree planting and environmental practices. Our revenues go towards the production and evolution of the whole mokugift experience: from the moment you send an mokugif tree gift to the moment a tree is planted in the real world.
